Two days ago I was informed that my friend Mico is going to leave for UK in a few days' time. Also two days ago was when she invited me to her farewell party. I had no idea she was going overseas... at least of all so soon.
I'm going to miss her.I didn't have time to get her a really nice gift on such short notice. Actually, I'm not good at picking out gifts at all so I'm not sure if it would've made a difference. But I
had to get her something. So I gave her a little trinket for her to hang where ever she wants. It's the Shanghai Expo's blue mascot, Haibao which means 'Treasure of the Sea'. It's really small, but at least it's something.
I had dinner there. Some noodles and some fish cake. It was quite nice, really. There was chicken too, but I didn't have any. As for the drinks (or drink in this matter), it was some nice thirst-quenching... citrus-y ever-so-slighty-sour-ish drink. Haha, none of us could really pinpoint what is was exactly. But it was yummy.
Gooosh I'm going to miss her so much. D: I mean, we don't talk or chat or see each other a lot, and not very often at all either, but just knowing she won't be there is so... saddening.
She said she's going to make a Skype account. Can't wait! Will definitely Skype her when I can. And a lotta pictures were taken with her (or her dad's) DSLR cam. Can't wait to see those pictures too!
At her farewell party, I played Twister for the first time. Ever. It was fun, like I expected. It was painful at times too. Not what I expected. It was really quite fun though! The fact that the game was so colourful probably made me like it more though, haha. Human pretzels. That what we players turned into.
Thank you Joey, May Gee, Khai Yi, Claire, Joe Yee, Bryan and Yi Hui (I'm not exactly sure how his name is spelt. Haha, sorry! New friend.) for keeping me company. I had a great time because of you lot. Thanks to Mico too, of course; but that goes without saying.
I'll miss you very much! And I'll be awaiting the day you come back. June 2012, right? See you then! Don't forget us (...me, specifically)!
AW MAN! Dang, can you ask her if she'd mind sneaking someone in her suitcase? LOL...gosh, I'd love to go to UK.
