Someone's been being impolite in my cbox. I had banned that person, but then unbanned him. If there is a repeat offense, I
will put on a permanent ban. Who on Earth wants to see an unseemly note?
For the record, I wasn't even talking about you SX. Take a chill pill. Don't go around making assumptions. I try to be civil but you aren't making it easy.
I just read something a minute ago, and it could just possibly be directed to me. I dunno. If it is, then, fine- I respect that person's wishes. However, I would like to say that I
do think I am right sometimes, if not most times. Obviously so, because I would not say something if I thought it was wrong. As for perfection, I don't believe in it. Some people think I speak without thinking of others, but actually it really is the other way round. Some things are just meant to be heard. Like most people like to say, telling not telling the truth and telling half-truths is just as bad as telling a lie. I simply call myself blunt. This is because I do not simply go around insulting people as I like because it causes others sadness and whatnot.
Oh and of course, if it isn't directed to me, then, I'm glad. We should learn from other's mistakes anyway, right? I guess it's sometimes better to imagine someone's harsh words directed towards you even though they aren't. To put things into perspective.
I have the power and I'm not afraid to use it.
Try me.
&All in a day's work.
Round Tummy

I just returned from Victoria Station! Yummm...
I had the Seafood Platter! There were fish, scallops, calamari, crab and prawn! Super yum. I also had mushroom soup and a taco. 8D And and a bun with butter! Teehee.
I feel kinda hyper. Mentally, I mean. Physically, I don't think I can move. Must be the food! There were wedges on my seafood platter, but... I couldn't eat the carbs. They were too filling. I did have the salad though. And guess what? They put in a slice of pineapple in a salad! How cool is
that?!
And of course, I had my escargot. I just love escargot. Garden snails. Yumm. With garlic sauce. Even more yumm.
Would have taken pictures, but felt too classy to do so ;D
On another note, my friend told me something very valuable yesterday. I'm sure you're all dying to know what it is. Well, I'll tell you.
Friends lie to each other.Hahaha, I know right? I have totally used this new knowledge to my advantage yesterday. Pretty fun, actually. You should try it some time. When a friend tells you something you don't like, just act as if realisation has dawned upon you and exclaim, "Oh yeah... I forgot that friends lie to each other for a second there!" then end it with a smile.
-smiles-I ♥ you, you ♥ me,
We're one happy fa-mee-leee.
P.S. I may have gotten sunburn for the first time ever. Am I gonna be congratulated or what? =]
Foooood. Escargot! Love.
First off, I would like to express my abhorrence towards this one guy my friend is actually okay with. I mean seriously. I can't understand- really, I can't understand at
all- how she stands him. He is a total, total arse.
Now that that's out of the way! :D I'm going to have dinner at Victoria Station! Woooo escargot, here I come! And thank you Sathuur for the yummy french fries. Delish!
And congratulations to my dear friends! Yean-Li, Mandy and Michelle. You girls completely deserve it! You girls are good at tennis and should just accept it =D
Would anyone like to see my double skin tone? It's very obvious, and you can't miss it. xD I mean... it's gone ten shades darker! Oh weeeell. If it's the price of having a good time with my friends, playing my favourite sport, then let it be.
Talking about tennis... I'm getting a silver medal! Like... whoa...(fullstop.) I've never gotten a medal for tennis for an actual tournament before. After 3 years; finally!
Actually, I
have gotten a medal before. Silver too. But I only had to beat one opponent to gain that. This time, I, as partner to Yean Yan, had to beat two pairs of opponents, and strong ones at that! The opponent I played against for the previous medal wasn't that strong, so it didn't really mean anything to me. Well, it didn't mean
much anyway. So... thanks. To everyone who supported me in just about anything and everything.
Forced Post
Okay, here's the deal. This is a Forced Post. FP, for short. Now let me explain a little about FPs.
FPs are written when I make myself write a post. Not because I want to, but because I make myself do it. So don't expect the usual kind of posts, because you won't get it. Instead, you
will get an insight on what I would have written about if I did write a proper post. So here goes; the FP begins!
Was gonna write about point of views (POV) and personal opinions. I was also gonna write about Latin dance class. I was
also gonna write about the past week.
But I'm too lazy and I'm going 'mehh'. So there ya go! The very first FP on mah blog.
Someone has to win, and someone has to lose. If it wasn't this person, it would've been that.
&Hahaha. Laughter makes you lose calories, so laugh!
&You're so coooool. :D ♥
A Penny For My Thoughts
Thursday, June 10, 2010
Sigh... I'm feeling a tad depressed. I don't really know why. Maybe this depression is just the lack of joy. There's nothing to be joyous about, even though it is the holidays. These holidays don't seem much like holidays. There's just so much work. But the work can't be done alone, as it's all group work.
I want to draw and colour, but I need a tablet. I'm too lazy to get a pencil and a piece of paper. Someone get me a tablet, dammit! D:
I went for a joy this morning, and at least that put a smile on my face. I haven't bathed yet since then. Should I go jump rope or do crunches now?
Someone... get me out of this funk.
I want a tablet! D: I have my artistic needs too!
Sigh...
Cousin Chloe's Treat
Saturday, June 5, 2010
My cousin treated my brothers and I to dinner and a movie earlier! We ate at Full House, Sunway Pyramid, and watched Shrek: Forever After.
At Full House, I had Wasabi Fish and Wedges. Yummeh. Filling. Drank honeydew with black pearls. Love cup! And the mushroom soup was deliciouuus. Everything was a bit pricey though. Not sure if I'd go there again, but I certainly enjoyed myself there.
One of the main attractions would be the setting and the freedom they give you to take tons of pictures with the things on display there. It's a sort of... old English setting. You know, with white curtains and four poster bed and everything. I deeply enjoyed playing around.
As for the movie watching, it went well, definitely. The whole cinema was full of people laughing uber loudly. Shrek: Forever After is very funny. At some parts which I didn't think was funny, the stranger thought it was and laughed. Apparently the saying that laughter is contagious is true, because when he laughed, I followed suit. Oh my gosh, the characters are just so ADORABLE! Especially The Puss No-Longer-In Boots. And and the donkgons! Haha, I meant the donkey-dragons. Oh my gosh, just so
cute!Pictures of dinner are in my cousin Chloe's camera, so I don't have 'em. Will/Might post them up next time =]
Seventeenth Birthday
Wednesday, June 2, 2010
We're talking about mine, of course! I didn't want to make a big deal out of it actually. Didn't feel like anything special at all the day before.
I went to sleep at eleven, and was already half asleep when my phone rang. It was Elwin, calling to shout in my ears a "Happy Birthday!". Right after I put down the phone, it started ringing again. It was Ben Lim this time. He didn't shout, but he wished me a HB too. Then I received about four texts. Thank you, guys and girls. :D
Then I went to sleep.
While I was sleeping... my phone rang. I woke up for a second, took note of it ringing, ignored it, and went back to sleep.
But my day was first started to look bright when I turned on the lights in the washroom to find a note stuck on the mirror. My brother had written it, wishing me a happy birthday signing it from the whole family. I could tell he wrote it though by the handwriting. When I went downstairs, mom told me that he initially spelled my name 'Tsing You' instead of 'Tsing Yu'. Hahaha!
When I went to school, friends started wishing me a HB. Some... wished me after hearing their friends wish me. Haha. It's all cool. In class, Elwin the darlin' handed me a colourful cupcake with a relighting candle on it. I played along and blew a stream of air into it non-stop. Still wouldn't permanently go out. Haha. Oh, and he got the whole class to sing the Happy Birthday song for me while he held the cupcake in front of me. It was so sweet. :] During recess, I found out that the cupcake was... CHEESE. LIKE ZOMG. Delish, absolutely!
Nichelle got me a bottle of lotion.
Nice-smelling lotion. :D (I kinda
hinted told her to get me a fluffy towel for my birthday the night before during tuition. I told her she could get me some nice-smelling lotion too. Haha.) Sangeetha on the other hand, who said she would turn up at school, never did. Not for most of the schooling time anyway. She showed up about... an hour or a half before we were released from school to hand me my present. Ain't she such a nice girl? =] She gave me a necklace! And a pretty one at that! Thank you two girls for the thoughtful gifts. =]
Nichelle & Sangeetha's gifts for me.Nothing much at school other than that. On Facebook, a couple of people wished me. I thanked each one personally, meaning no copy and pastes. xD Some responded to my
witty kind thank yous, and continued with a short chat.
Some other things happened as well, but I can't talk about them here. :P It happened with someone... whom I can't state here either. xD
I went for chinese painting class and painted grapes again. It turned out nice-ish this time! Really! xD
Told you it was better :DWhen I got home, my family decided to eat the cake Auntie Mary brought over. She's a family friend, or more specifically, my mom's kinda-close-I-guess friend. She's a really nice lady. They sang the HB song for me and I blew out all seventeen candles in one huff. :D I had a cherry, and I wanted a strawberry too but everyone else stole it. Wanted the strawberry to whiten my teeth! By the way, I think I didn't write a post about my braces being removed. Well, they were removed yesterday. Got my retainers today. Aaanyway, back to the cake. It was American Chocolate cake. Yummeh.
My slice o' cake!Went online after that, and I chatted with Nina for some time. Nina Yap finally realised that it was my birthday half an hour before the clock struck twelve. Hahaha, the way she panicked was funny. She sang me the birthday song. Kinda. She just typed out the words, really.
All in all, it was a pretty great day for a day in which I didn't expect anything special to happen at all. I guess my birthday was happy one after all. :]
Making a wish on seventeen candles after a seventeen-year journey through life.
