Genting, work, and more tennis, of course!

Some of you might be wondering, 'Why hasn't she been updating recently?'. This is the answer I give you: I didn't feel like it, and oddly enough, I've been re-addicted to MapleStory. Yes, it's that game many of you call childlish, which I find sometimes fun. Anyway, onto the actual post.
Well, I went to Genting Highlands on a Friday and came back on a Sunday. Don't remember which Friday it was though. ^^; Maybe it was last last Friday, the 16th. Well, who cares. Anyway, on the first night, we watched some annual magic show. The magicians were really very impressive! Hopefully there'll be even better performances next year. The next day, we went to the outdoor theme park. We sat on the Corkscrew. It went round and round and it was ear-banging. Just remembering about it makes me feel the pain again. @_@ That night, Amelia, Charmain and I went to the arcade and played this game called ParaPara. It involves hand-waving and stuff. I sweated a lot. o_o I wanna play again. I shall ask a few friends to accompany me to Sunway Pyramid to play that game! =D
Now. Work. Everyone was getting a 'job', so I though 'Why can't I get one too?'. I envied them, but no more! I now 'work' or 'help out' at my dad's office. Mom keeps urging me to get some money out of dad as payment and he agrees, though I might not get it in the end anyway. For your information, I'm in the office right now! There's nothing to do at the moment, but there will be pretty soon. So far, I've stamped about five or six cheque books and written out several people's payrolls. It was fun~ I'll be coming back every Tuesday to Thursday. I'm unavailable on Mondays and Fridays' because there's tennis camp and Malay tuition classes. I'm learning how to do... office stuff! Like... photostat papers and write cheques and payrolls.
On to tennis! I watched the Sampras vs. Federer match in Shah Alam on television. I would've gone to the stadium, but my parents said it was too expensive. Oh well, at least I got to see it
and also skip Science tuition class =D. I totally love Sampras' serve! He served two aces! Awesome, I tell you. And then there's also
my tennis classes. Coach Michael changed the Group C classes from Tuesday 9.30am to Monday 9.00am, enabling me to attend. Previously, dearest mother would not allow me to attend because "It's so hot la! Bad for your skin and it's complection." Sorry for the misspelt word. I forgot the actual spelling and I'm too lazy to search it up in a dictionary and whatsoever. I told coach what mom said and he answered, "What? She's going to enter you into a beauty pageant is it?" Awesome point! I said it word for word back to mommy and she still refused to let me go. In the end, the
extremely kind and thoughtly and caring and all-those-other-things coach of mine and many others changed the date and time to accomodate me. Maybe not just for me, but... it's good! Yesterday's tennis camp lesson was awesome! I didn't have to run a single round! And we played about... 6 matches or something. It was probably because of one of my teammates. Her name was Mandy. She looks
tremendously like Jasmine! She's really good at tennis and scored tons of points for our team. We both (Gary and I) owe her our thanks; although Gary didn't say it, I'm sure he's thankful anyway. xD We should've gotten a McDonald's voucher for that, I tell you! Even coach called us 'undefeatable' and 'champions'! But sadly enough, he said "I went to McDonalds to get some vouchers but the manager wasn't in. Too bad for you lo..." It's true, what he said. Too bad!
Half an hour before the lesson ended, he took out that much disliked magazine of his and showed us more pictures of tennis players. I didn't recognise any of them, except for Nadal. =X Then, he flipped to a full page picture of some English guy that looked
very slightly familiar. I simply shot and/or tembak-ed softly, "Djokovic!" I'm not sure how the exact spelling of his name is, but it should be something like that, give or take a few letters. xP Unexpectedly, he heard my wild shot at the name and said it was correct! ...Not enough to get me a point though. He wanted the first name too! I had totally
no idea for that one. He asked for his nationality, and I was still clueless. In the end, we, the students or pupils, discovered that he's Serbian. We've never heard of that place before, so how were we supposed to know, yes? By the way, I forgot his nationality a minute ago, and checked Wikipedia to confirm it. Huzzah, my terrible memory! And I also found out his name's spelling. It's
Novak Đoković or
Novak Djokovic. Woo! I was right, kinda. So... the questions went on based on the magazine. Mom said she'll get dad to get it for me. xD That doesn't count as cheating, does it? I'm simply curious about tennis players, and I wanna know more about them. It's to widen my knowledge about tennis, I tell you! It's the truth!
Boring holidays, not!
Friday, November 9, 2007
Who ever said the holidays were going to be a series of long, boring and empty days?
I think they're wrong! It's been pretty exciting for me so far! Not as hectic as I thought it'd be for the past few days, but still pretty busy! Let's take today as an example, shall we? :]
In the morning (9.30a.m.), I had Malay tuition. We did a lot of work, as usual. @_@ Then at four, I had tennis lessons. Woo! It was fun! Right after tennis, my friends and I went for a swim. My fingers turned into mini-prunes!
It seemed almost eatable. I had dinner at Juliet, then went back to the club for another round of tennis class. Two in one day, that was great! Excellent! Awesome! And everything else I can possibly think of! Right now, if I had to say something about my tennis playing, it would definitely be that I had no consistency. Real good one moment, whacking balls over the boundaries the next. Yep. Just
that inconsistent. Coach Michael scared me though at the four o'clock lesson. I had arrived at the parking lot and I saw him by his car. I waved to him with a "Good afternoon, coach!" Then he asked me, "Hey, do you mind if we do one on one training?" My eyes widened, because the thought of one on one training with him can be explained with one word. Treacherous. "Eh? Amelia not here yet meh? Isn't she coming?" was my immediate reply. He countered with, "Why? Scared ar?" xD I simply laughed it off and said, "No la!" He then asked me to go up stairs. 'She's already up there.' Phewww. I smiled sheepishly to myself and skipped up the stairs. Our coach has a pretty good sense of humour, I tell you! And and one more thing! There's this guy who's in the same lesson as me, whom I thought was at least fourteen years old. Amelia thought fifteen. He asked me for my age, and I said I was fourteen. I asked the same question to him, and he said thirteen. The appearance of shock was evident on my face, I'm sure. Amelia was pretty shocked too. Well, all the more for not judging a book by it's cover. Or judging a boy by his looks and height too. xD
A few blue strands of hair, and others.
Thursday, November 8, 2007
Woo! About 7% percent of my hair is now blue! <-- Has bad estimation skills. It's not very noticeable, but I still like it very much nonetheless!
Mom's hair is now brown, maroon, yellow, pink, and green. Don't say anything; shush. I woke up at seven in the morning to attend tennis lessons to find out that it was cancelled. I found out only after I arrived at the courts, too! ._. I ended up going to the gym. It was way fun!
--------
Mom parked the car somewhere near Sunway Pyramid. When we returned about... five or six hours later, our car (and the whole row) was completely double parked. Meaning, we were stuck until the owner came back. During that time, my mom (and the owner of the car behind us that was also stuck) honked
really loudly. People passing by sure looked tortured. They have my sympathy. And I also deserve my sympathy, cause it was so embarassing. =x Maybe half an hour later (<-- Bad estimation skills again), this guy appears from the cybercafe practically right next to where we parked, and he apologised, then moved his car away. I need not explain how angry my mom and I were, because I'm sure you all already know. ^^
Happy Birthday, Puiquan!!

Here, I made this on the spot for you! It took me... dunno how many minutes xD

School ended, holidays began.
Tuesday, November 6, 2007
Yes! Today marks the day of the last day of school for this year! Which of course, also means the holidays have started! Tomorrow was supposed to be a major hectic day, but it turned out that I'd be free in the morning. This was the timetable I had a few minutes ago: Badminton in the morning- about 8 till 12?- followed by tennis in the afternoon- about... 4 until 6 or so- and end the day with hip-hop- 7.30 until 8.30. Well, I got a call saying that two out of four people won't be able to make it to badminton tomorrow, so it's called of. The two people would be Joey and Brandon. Puiquan said Don got lots of invites from other people to go for other sports related stuff. Geez, I never knew he is/was that popular .o_o I don't know why Joey can't make it though, so I can't say anything there. Because of this, I'll probably sleep in tomorrow. ^^ Maybe till... 11? 12? Then again, I have a few pages of Malay homework that needs doing. We'll see what I feel like doing later. =D But! I might wake up early to read Hanakimi. Ohmygawd, that manga is unbelievably extremely addictive!! I've waken up at seven in the morning for the past two days to sneak onto the computer to read it! *Pffft~ As if I'm not sneaking on now.* I'm going to read it again right after I'm done with this post.
So anyway. In conjunction with today being the last day of the school year, the teachers and headmistress allowed us to throw a feast or party in our respective classes. However, us, being rebellious teenagers and also being I-can't-sit-still-for-long teenagers, we roamed the school in search of
friends from other classes food. Food, food and more food than we already had in our own class. I wandered to Two Doritis (from the fourth floor to the first) to visit my friends
and seek food. When I arrived, this...
person was at the door, greeting, "Welcome to Two Doritis!". It seemed funny, especially since he wasn't from that class. I won't say who it was, because you'd know it if it were you. ;D Anyway, my friends-
close friends- were sitting at a table (or a few tables joined together, actually), playing Bluff. I wasn't good at that it, and they were in the middle of the game so I just sat down and watched them play. When the game ended, we all decided to play Heart Attack. Choon Weng didn't know how to play, but he does now
though he is still slow, but that doesn't matter much. Shortly later, the teacher stopped allowing us to use playing cards, or else it'd be taken away. All of us then idly sat there, talking about stuff that wasn't interesting enough for me to remember. Oh! There was one thing! It doesn't count as a talking thing, but it was interesting enough for me to remember it clearly! xD I went back to my class to get my bag, and when I returned, my seat was taken! I asked Choon Weng, to move a little so I could sit as well, but he refused. And the reason was just plain dumb- no offense, Choon Weng! xD It was, "But- but- Brandon over there leh!" ... What kinda statement was that? Therefore, I replied, "So? I wanna sit! Tak berkaitan dengan him also!" "But but he's right there leh!" I shook him hardly by the shoulders and he still refused. The girl sitting next to him stood up and I quickly yet swiftly stole her seat. xD It was fun, though I still don't get what Brandon has to do with anything. ...Someone help me out here?
Okay! And then... there was Truth or Dare! *completely forgot until reading Puiquan's blog. Thanks, Quan!* There were two truths but nothing interesting... They're answers were the typical kind so yeah. *plays suspense music* And then Andrea spun the bottle... It turned round and round and round... Oh, the suspense! *music abruptly stops* It landed on me!! Grah! Really! Andrea dared me (or someone else gave the idea, I'm not sure who) to
kiss Brandon. Hey, people, why pair me and him up, of all people! You know he has a hoard of fangirls, and I
definitely do
not want to be attacked by them. Besides, I don't think I'll actually be kissing anyone until a few more years. Say... until I get to college or university. I simply turned to Andrea and shouted at her, "You crazy?? You wish! I'm
NOT doing it!" Everyone became more lenient somewhat and then gave me 'hug Brandon' as a dare. I was like, "Fine, fine." However! Maybe he overheard or something, I dunno, but he had already left his chair and was walking out the door. Ahah! There was my excuse. They couldn't say I backed out of it, it was
he that left! =D Bwahahahaha! *crosses arms and laughs bwahahaha-ish, just like Don Kanonji for those of you who watch Bleach*
Before assembly started, Puiquan, Joey and I were playing 'Chi Ku Pak!' Shortly later, Brandon joined. Then Shawne. Then Clement. Soon, there were quite a lot of people! And I almost forgot about Ying Ying! She joined in too. And- and Surin!
And and May Gee too! Wow, so many people. So that makes a grand total of..9 people! The thing was... the guys- Ying Ying included, although she isn't a guy xD- were really good at this game! They play it every opportunity they get in class. As a result, whenever May Gee, Puiquan, Joey and I won, there'd be a loud series of applause ringing throughout the class, and maybe the whole school block. Who knows, right? It was
very fun. And addicting too. When assembly started, Puiquan and Petunlia hid in my class' line and we continued playing. Just the three of us, though. I was starting to get scared after a while because we weren't that far away from the line of teachers so we stopped after a couple of short and noisy rounds.
Btw. Shawne! I just
know you won't be reading this but I just wanna say it here anyway. :] I repeat: Shawne! You said we could take a picture before we went back but don't have also wan! xD
Dang, another rainy Sunday?
Sunday, November 4, 2007
Like I said, "Dang! It rained tonight!". I was supposed to have tennis lessons! T_T *whines* Come to think of it, I talk about tennis a lot, eh? Oh, and I might be developing a crush on someone who plays tennis too. Just another lame crush, which will probably last just a moment~ ^^ Back on topic; Why, oh why, did it rain?? I blame it all on that boy player in my class. Who ask you to leave arh?! ...Just kidding, of course! xD Todaya was pretty tiring... Woke up in the morning, went to the temple to give out donations and offerings and stuff. Then, I went to my gramp's house and caught up with a few hours of sleep time. After that, I woke up with messy hair. Therefore, I brushed it. <-- Was that even necessary to mention? >>; Anyway~ Off my family and I rushed to an open house party thing that was held because of Hari or Bulan Raya. I am just
that clueless about other races! >< style="text-decoration: underline;">still ate more junk food. About an hour later, I left for tennis. Well, that pretty much summed up my tiring Sunday. Tiring today, that is.
Pictures! 8]
Thursday, November 1, 2007
*I've been updating a lot recently, no? o_O And hah, I skipped school! (With permission, of course!) I just
had to when I heard there's a possibility of getting a shot.
I played badminton this morning with Lilly, Joey and Puiquan. We had such a great time! We played badminton half of the time, and for the other half, we simply strolled around, having fun being vain little creatures. Well, we snapped pictures like mad people and here are the pictures! Just because I'm a partly a kind hearted person, I put the pictures in thumbnail form so it won't bother those people with slow connections :3 Fyi, click to enlarge.

I originally wanted to Photoshop that hideous pimple of mine away, but there were so many photos and just looking at them... I got lazy so I left it there. And lyke oh noes! No one told me I looked like a fattie! I am so not photogenic xD PQ pula is the total opposite. Doesn't she look pwetty?? Oh! And I made two animated groups of pictures; complete with captions and dialogue. Note: The captions and dialogue do not describe what happened. It was put there just for the fun of it. And I asked everyone who is involved's permission to post this. :D I can now post happily.
Uhm. Wanted to say more, but I think it's long enough. Watch out for more pictures!
