First off, Merry Christmas, everyone :]
Okay, so that takes care of the wishes. Now onto the post! (In case you couldn't tell, not in much of a Christmas-y mood.)
Sooo. Earlier this evening (or yesterday evening, depending on the way you look at it), I went to Bernice's place for a party. I've been looking forward to it for a couple of days.
Two of the first few people I saw when I arrived were Bernice and Trisha. Gosh, I missed them both so much. It was nice to finally be able to spend some time with them. Sat at a table together with Bernice's brother, Benjamin. Aaaaand... one more guy. Whose name I
don't know forgot. I do remember that as a joke Trisha called him Adrian. Hah. I only remember people's false names.
Then 'Adrian' left. And Suet Ling came. Hopefully that's how her name's spelled. She's a tall girl. Not too thin though. Just nice =]
Then some time after that, Justin(e?) and Jerome arrived. ...I do not remember how they are related to anyone. Are they? ...I don't know. I just know I know them. Or I was
supposed to know them. Heeeh.
Time for highlights! (Because I'm too lazy to write down every single detail.)
I think I'll do it all in order. Or as close to the timeline as possible.
First off. Trisha was talking about boobiness. Hahahahaha. It was funny.
If I've not mistaken, she asked me how come I'm not together with anyone. Especially since I'm.. uh... what was that term she used? I can't remember. Something along the lines of 'more booby than most'. xD I threw it right back at her, saying she was too =] It's all in good faith.
Second, I had plain bread. Gardenia brand. I ate it just like that. The girls thought it was odd. Theeen the Gardenia theme song played in my head.
Gardeeenia. So good you can even eat it on its own! You know.
That theme song. I nearly sang it out loud, but Bernice didn't want the song stuck in her head so to be a nice person, I kept my mouth shut :] The funny part was, as us girls sat in the car, the radio was turned on and the Gardenia song was playing! It was hilarious! Talk about coincidences.
Third. ...
Someone poured their heart out. I wish you the very best, dear. Hope you have a wonderful year ahead of you.
I will surviiive! Yeah! I will lead my life the way I want to!
&It's all about the way you carry yourself. Feel intimidating, and you will intimidate. Feel friendly, and people will feel it too. It's all about what you choose to be.
&You get to choose too. Just go about it in a different way. You WILL get what you want. Because it's like you said, you're the one who's living your life, and who's going to live with it the rest of your life.
This might seem a little early, but I've already started to think about the new year.
Next year, would be my last year of high school. The end of the beginning. The end of the
very beginning. Which means the story really starts telling itself the year after. Well, it should anyway.
I should get myself a boyfriend.Gosh, it's just been bothering me so much recently! ...Romance-based stories do not help.
I just wanna get this outta my system. It's working. A little. Kinda.
I wonder what I would do if I was asked out.College life, dorm life, arrive quickly. I need you.
Hey, I just realised that it's almost like the anime Read Or Die! Hahaha!Okay. So. You know I love writing. It's an outlet- oh wait; it's not an outlet, it's
the outlet- for my imagination and thoughts to make an appearance somewhere in the real word. Even if the real world is virtual.
I have been reading a lot recently. Romance, obviously. And this great writer wrote this great story. And took part in NaNoWriMo. I had the intention of joining too last year. Then I forgot. Like, ohmigad right?
And I haven't written
anything story-like at all for like, EVER! I feel really really really guilty, and feel as if I've really really really let myself down. Then,
oh yeah by the way I've joined the NaNoWriMo community. Just have to wait for another 315 days now, and remember about it. I saw this one person who had this odd looking signature in the NaNoWriMo forums. I clicked it, and it led me to Write Or Die.
Being the naturally curious person I am, I just had to try it out. Even though I was reluctant
because I haven't written anything for ever and now I'm scared, I pretty much like... forced myself to use the app. Just for curiosity's sake.
Even with the application's prodding, I only managed to write 143 words in 7 minutes. Because I kept backspacing and typing and backspacing and typing and you get the point. As I was writing, I thought what I wrote was
complete and utter crap because it was completely forced. But when I was done (if giving up and not forcing myself to write any more counts as done), I read it over and it came out... well, not good, but at least it was readable.
For memories' sake, I have decided to post those measly 143 words. I can't believe I'm doing this, but I am. I am going to cry over the pitiful two paragraphs of words that I have written some time in the future at how badly, how very very badly, it was written. Until then, here it is. ...I
still can't believe I'm pasting it here! Aaaaaargh!
My starting point was something from school. We were required to write something that started with "She was lying in a pool of blood...". Okay. So. Here we go. Why am I embarassed again? Oh yeah, because this is rubbish, and I'm posting up my rubbish here on my blog for the world to see. Hardy har har.
I entered the dark room and the scene in front of me was just plain horrifying. There she was, lying on her side right smack in the middle of the room. Her clothes were torn. No, not nicely and artistically torn. Torn as if an animal or monster had ripped her clothes apart. With that description, it's pretty obvious that her skin too seemed ripped. Huge gashes were apparent on her flesh and dried up blood could be seen bordering the fatal wounds.
At first, I was too shocked to say anything. I couldn't even scream. After a few seconds of registering what I've seen in my head, it finally hit me that yes, it was indeed a morbid scene I faced. Then only did I scream. A late reaction, but a reaction nonetheless. I didn't know what to do. Not at first anyway.
Notice how I did all description and no action. Because. I was lame
and completely stuck like that. Sighhhh. It's probably full of errors I can't detect right now.
Someone, save me!
