I had some things I wanted to write about, but... I had
forgotten what it was about. There is something else though!
Operation Get Violin Lessons is well under way! I'm most
probably going to start... next week?
Huzzah! So. I prefer
longer posts, and this is too short for me. Therefore, I shall do
Christine's tag which I had
forgotten about until I saw
Sam/Toko-chan's post.
I feel like making it all
colourful~ ♥<--Tag Start!-->The Rules: Go to

Oh that is soooo not Millie. That's a nice nickname though. I'll call her that. And gauge her reaction. Which would not be her 'lighting up the entire room', for sure.
04: Favourite colour?Midnight Blue A color that is the epitomy of darkness at night.
He couldn't see through the midnight blue.
Well, no offense, but like duh. Is there any other meaning? Here, I'll create one! The favourite color of most-awesome-all-the-time Resha.

done making gadgets for the
Drive Princess (literal translation of the Malay version of
Girl Guides) camp.
And I still wanna make my
new layout. Been, uh,
lazy? OMG,

So Much Wanted, So Little Gotten
Monday, February 23, 2009
Geeez, I haven't updated for like a week! Oh well. This place's just for my amusement anyway :] Got loads to tell!
First off, whhooo, I'm getting violin lessons! Well, not for sure completely, but I think & hope so. That's the pro; learning the violiiin! The con however would be not getting a new tennis racket and not resuming my taekwondo lessons. Sad, totally, but worth it to me.
Second. Uh. Sports day yesterday! Not much to report on. I dressed up in my Girl Guide uniform! ♥ I'll admit it doesn't look all that bad. Some of my friends though I looked cute and I'm flattered :3
Third. My mom saw crazy plane ticket rates in the newspaper and now, my family along with another family have booked tickets for Macau. We will then ferry to Hong Kong and enter Ocean Park. Or World. Something like that. Overseas for three nights, then coming back. Leaving on the 28th of May! Coming back on the 31st, meaning there'd still be time for me to celebrate my birthday~ That is, if anyone wants to celebrate with me.
Fourth, I'm entering an essay conteeeest. I hope I remember to do it. And I hope I win too, obviously.
Fifth, I had intended to make a new layout for this blog, buuuut I never got to doing it. After all, procrastination rocks. And procrastinators rule. For example, my exams start tomorrow and I haven't opened any books yet. I'm doooooooomed for History. I
will somehow pull it off and get a B plus. Or A2. Whatever.
Lastly, last week's late CNY party. William's a darling. Kept me company the whole time. Such a gentleman too. Mandy, if you're reading this, no scoffing or laughing your head off. :] Weeeeell, I guess the reason we hung out was cause my friends hadn't arrived yet. Either that, or they weren't showing up at all. Such a sad, pitiable moment. At the end of the
day night, I had a total of three dates, at least. William, Mabel and Elwin. You three are awesome people.

I just wanted to mention the violin topic again. Squeaaaaaaal, I want meh violin! Then I can go all La Corda D'Oro on people. Mind you, the violin lessons are my second choice activity; the first being ballroom dancing. Now this reminds me of my Basic Economy (
Ekonomi Asas)syllables. Choice Problem (
Masalah pilihan) from Chapter One. It means having to settle for whatever you can get. And also Past Cost Problem (
Masalah Kos Lepas). Meaning having to let go of your other choice. (Take note that I have literally translated the subject and sub-topic names.) It's upsetting how we can't get everything we want. But life rolls like that, and when we can't beat them, join 'em. What could beat life?
P.S. Having knowledge of Basic Economy is not proof that I have studied for my exams. For your information, I am not taking that test this year. Which is again, upsetting.
Homework Delaying
Thursday, February 12, 2009
I'm so huuuungry~ I hope I don't get gastric in the middle of the night or anything.
After going for three activities in the late afternoon, I went home and collapsed onto the sofa. Then I went to sleep. When I woke up, I think it was about.. ten at night. I proceeded to do my often-forgotten homework.
Thus, I skipped dinner. Now I'm paying the consequenceeeees.
And I'm still procrastinating my homework, which is begging to be done but blissfully ignored. :]
Drama auditions part two tomorrow! Part one was done today, and it was fun. Everyone, meet Miss Massage Chair also known as me. Emelia, Miss Air Conditioner; Shawne, Mister Pumpkin and Brandon, Mister Grape.
I don't know what got into (or left) Brandon's brain at that time, but he couldn't guess the word grape. His teammates made it so blindingly obvious too. Maybe it was a temporary black-out. It
was funny though to see him struggling so hard.
As for Shawne, his teammates weren't portraying the image of a pumpkin very well. Some kept motioning towards their faces, trying to give off a Jackal Lantern image but they were unsuccessful. The female teammates tried Cinderella but alas, that was to no avail either. Finally, Brandon got down and started to do push-ups, which we call
pumping here. When Shawne got the word pump, Clement showed an action, 'in'. Eventually the message got through and he guessed 'Pumpkin'.
My group's antics were funny as well but there is simply too much to write down here. Basically, the audition part one was about acting skills. Tomorrow, it will be voice projection. Can't wait!
Will you look at that. My homework book is still open and left all alone, serving as an elbow rest for my right arm. Mhmm, how nice.
Do you know?! I'm addicted to
Maria, sung by
Kim Ah Joong from the movie
200 Pounds Beauty! It's an awesometastic song. A little hard at the chorus, but nothing Miss Massage Chair can't handle. Laugh out loud.
Okay, okay, I will try to return to my homework now. Wish me luck. Hope I don't drift off again.
-----
P.S. My dear big brother, stop trying to set me up. Thank you. Nothing's gonna happen and I ain't asking. :]

Note: I wrote all of this, assuming the day and date are Wednesday and 11 Feb respectively.
CNY Events
Wednesday, February 11, 2009
Okay! So CNY ended a couple of days ago. Last Sunday was the last day of the celebrations. Oddly, it was the day with the most events planned.
In the afternoon, I went over to Bernice's place and I met up with her and Trisha. Had a lot of fun chatting as usual. I was sad though, as I had to leave so early that time. Which was about... four? Usually when we met up, the three of us would stay til past midnight at the very least.
I went home and slept on the living room couch. Then I woke up and prepared to go to my tuition centre's CNY party. By the time seven o'clock arrived, my friends had already started arriving next door! My neighbour's function also started at seven, but I decided to go for the tuition centre's party first cause it ended earlier.
So anyways, at PTAG, I received two angpows. One the traditional one, and the other for my PMR results. The food wasn't half bad, though it was all mostly fried stuff. Bad for my health, but hey a girl's gotta eat
something right? After dinner were the games. I got my friend to accompany me while I asked my Malay-language class teacher to join our group. We won three rounds out of four and we had a blast. Mr Tan was our leader, kinda. He ordered us around and led us to our almost-victory! Which was good enough for me.
At one point, students were playing with super large balloons and Caleb, the English teacher, was acting
cowardly funny. He covered his ears and cowered in corners. I wasn't there to witness the following, but my friend told me the instant he did that, everyone fished out their phones and camera phones and went
snap, snap, snap! It was amusing to say the least. I had my picture taken with Caleb and my friends, but it's with Huda. I will get it from her soon and show it to you guys and girls, whoever that reads this.
I arrived at my neighbor Jeffrey's house at about ten thirty. Luckily everyone was still there! I ended up playing and teaching my friends how to play mahjong. It's a nice game once you know how to play. My neighbor didn't have a set so I brought mine over. We weren't gambling, just playing for the fun of it. Besides that, nothing much happened. Oh yeah. I
screamed said to everyone "Hi. I missed you!". The reactions I got varied. Some kept silent so I kept repeating myself until they replied. Everyone had a good laugh at my little antics. Sadly though, some of my friends had to leave not long after I arrived. Then everyone left at twelve. I ever-so-slightly regretted not getting there earlier, but when I think back about it, it wasn't that bad.
Men's Finals of Australian Open 09
Sunday, February 1, 2009
OMG, IT WAS AWESOME.Roger Federer went up against Rafael Nadal. Rafa won after playing against his opponent for 4 hours and 25 minutes! It was spectacular.
The shots they hit were great, but their ability to retrieve them was even more awesome!
My favourite player is now Rafael Nadal. He was so
adorable when he was trying to give that short speech after the game! *squeals like a fangirl*
I did indeed feel so sorry for Roger Federer though when he broke down. Felt like he needed a huuuug.
The Rafa-Roger moment was... *squeals again* I was like all, '
Kyaaaaaaaaa!' I am so going to look for and keep that picture in my phone.
