Lime Seed Eater
Sunday, September 21, 2008

Last Monday, there was this meeting for a reason which you need not know. After that, I was feeling hungry. I need to eat for every hour I live, dammit. Sooo I walked over to the food stall nearby and ordered fried noodles. With a juicy lime. Naturally, I squeezed all of its juice onto my noodles. The seeds came out along with it. I said with amazement to my friends about how many seeds there was in a tiny lime. So then, we continued talking, while I ate. When I was done, well, I was done. One of my friends exclaimed in surprise, "Hey, what happened to all the seeds?! There were probably twenty and now there's only about four or five left! ...Did you eat them!?" I just nodded and said yeah. All of them went a little more crazy than you would expect them to for someone who just found out their friend ate some lime seeds. I bugged them to try out the remainder seeds, and they refused. Except for one guy. He took it and I asked him to chew! The looks on my other two friend's faces was like this -> =O. But the guy who ate it said it was 'unexpectedly' okay, and pretty tasteless! So in the end, my other dear friends tried it as well. Sadly (or oddly) for them, it tasted bitter. So they said. They scrambled around for drinks to rid their mouths of the 'hideous taste'. My first friend took another one, and it still tasted fine to him. So, he concluded that they simply took the wrong seeds. My girl friend also said, "I'll never ever eat another lime seed." While I said, "See? When you hang around with me, you get to try new things. Awesome, ain't it?"

Rubik's Cube
Saturday, September 13, 2008

It is SO addictive. Well, unless you memorise some of it, you might still be in a tight spot. But when you do, it's FUN. & ADDICTIVE. I've solved it six times so far, which is something I can be proud of =3 It is so because it is something pointless and I know how to do it, even if just slightly. I owe it all to Lars Petrus's site! I learnt all I know from there. Completely helpful. So. I'm done with my Rubik addiction for now. Emphasis on now. I shall now talk about something else!

About two weeks ago, I had this funny dream. I guess it came of that egoistical part of my head. I will narrate it as thoroughly as a can. It will probably resemble the way nannies tell stories. Sorry. :]
-----
I was supposedly helping to organise this small scale musical event. The Jonas Brothers were supposed to play there. I really do like their songs. Anyway. I somehow arrived late, and all of the audience went off. Some sixth sense of mine (which sadly I don't actually have) told me the performers were still back stage, so I stayed and helped the staff keep the chairs and other not-very-important tasks. While I was helping I saw the band I was looking for, walking towards their car through glass doors. I ran out to them, and screamed, "Nick! Hey Nick!". I was calling for the youngest of the brothers, and also the cutest, in my opinion. He turned around and I said, "Can I have my picture taken with you?" Him and his brothers simply turned around and continued walking, as if thinking, 'Oh. Just another fangirl. Let's get a move on.'

I was persistent and said, "Come oooon! Just one, pleasee?" Their father, who was supposed to drive them back wandered off by himself and so Nick agreed to have his picture taken. Joe held my phone to take the picture. Oddly, it was as if he didn't know how to take pictures. Nick and I would smile til our faces froze and there would still be no click. If not, when I would be instructing Joe, the camera clicks. It was really funny. But alas, we got a nice one. After that, (now here comes the egoistical part), Joe handed me back my phone and walked off dejectedly. It was as if he was used to being the popular one and in other words, not used to having someone not want to have her (must usually be 'her's, right?) picture taken with him. I kinda pitied him of sorts and started tugging on his shirt. Dialogue then ensued.

"Come on, I'll have a picture taken with you too!"
"Nah, it's alright. I know you don't want it."
"No, no, that isn't true! Come onn, let's take a picture!"
"Eh? Ah, okay then, if you insist!" Joe ends the short dialogue with a wide playful grin on his face.

I handed my phone over to Nick and he took a picture with ease, which was the way it was supposed to be taken. Joe had a weird funny looking face on in the picture. I laughed at the sight of it. "Lovely look," I told him. "Thanks!" He replied proudly. I then thanked the brothers for their time and was about to walk off when their 'sister' appeared. The real brothers don't have a sister, but in my dream they did. It was waaay odd. She appeared from inside the open black car door and skipped towards me. Then, she simply held her hands in front of her as if expecting me to give her something. I voiced a soft 'huh?' and she giggled. "Your phone number, dummy! Don't you want my number too?" I was shocked! "Ah, right! Of course!" I slipped my phone out from my pocket and handed it to her. She keyed in her number and gave it back in several seconds. She playfully winked at me and said, "Keep in touch, yeah?" I smiled widely and nodded. "Yeah! Of course! See you!" Everyone parted ways waving their hands and with smiles glued onto their faces.
-----
If you're wondering what happened to Kevin of the brothers, he was looking good in the background :3 That is all.

P.S. I will get to your tag eventually, Chrissie. Eventually. Procratinators unite! <3

A Boring One-Day Holiday
Monday, September 1, 2008

Well, it wasn't all that boring now that I think about it, but I just have to say so because I was bored to death a few moments ago.

In the morning, I went to one of my favourite places to go to with my family, Ikea-Ikano! I absolutely looooove that place! Who cares if it's just for window shopping! Buuut anyway, I got a candle lamp and a bunch of scented candles for my room =D Oh. And an organising box that helps keep my room as tidy as possible, which still isn't good I must say. My room now often smells like cherries <3 You just gotta love cherries!

Then in the evening, my family decided to go out to eat. Which I did not feel like doing at all, since I was so tired after the morning-til-late-afternoon walk. I was forced to go, sadly. First, I thought, "Nah, come on. It can't be that bad. It's just nearby, right? You'll be back within an hour or two, tops." However, depressingly, I found out that the dinner date was going to be at Puchong. Aaaaaall the way at faraway Puchong! This is gonna take a while... Not only that, I only found out after I left the house! Hanabi was in there!! For those who do not know, Hanabi is my darling phone. I had to endure several hours of torture without her. Not in a good mood, I 'merajuk'-ed a little. To make myself feel better, I became a very picky eater. I have no idea why, but eating little makes me feel better =D In the end, I only ended up eating white rice and some yam cake. With tea, of course. And so nooow, here I am, whining to my friends who probably aren't even interested in this. Who cares? I feel better! :] Tata~

Oh, and have fun at school tomorrow, everyone! Try to, eh?
