Long Time Friends Visit!
Friday, January 30, 2009
Uwaaaaaah, my dad's primary school and close friend and his family came to visit! I love them all so much. Uncle Alfie, Auntie Florence, Andy and Edmund. Andy brought his girlfriend and friend from Australia over. I know not the name of the girlfriend, but the name of his friend is Chris. Gotta love the name; so classy and classic! I managed to squeeze out a couple of short conversations from Chris, the six feet four inches tall guy. He's a nice and charming person from what I could tell.
So then anyway.
Kyaaaaaaaa! Edmund was thereeee! I missed him so
so so SO much! I still love him ♥ I'm not sure love
how, but I do anyways :] Oh oh and he looked much better than I remembered too. Sigh, the awesome dude. I hope I get to see him again soon! Having said that, I was obviously ecstatic (in my head, I was.) when Auntie Florence proposed that I visit them one Sunday soon for some fun over at their place. I was thinking, it couldn't be more perfect! I told her I loved the idea but mom was like all "She has tennis." I practically slammed my head with my palm. "Eh, nevermind la! Skip one nothing wan!" That was my first thought and response. Right now, I'm thinking
whatever. Whatever as in
I'm going, and that's for sure; tennis or no tennis! Mhmm, yeah. I am
so going.
Thank you, all... *counts*.. six of you! I had a wonderful time tonight thanks to you. Thank you for the laughs, company, memories, and...
Famous Amos! Teehee. ♥
Chinese New Year
Monday, January 26, 2009
It was CNY Eve two hours ago and I had had lunch with my mom's friend. At their place, I ate a
lot of yee sang. You just gotta love it! Can't wait to have more. Later that day, both my parents and a brother of mine went to the 'City of Entertainment'. Leaving me, my brother and the maid at home. I slept for about two hours and then ate noodles. After that, I proceeded to watch Boston Legal.
I never get bored of that show! It's just awesome, like the world.
At about midnight, the CNY wishes started flooding in. I replied in text to every one of them except for a friend of mine's. For that particular friend, I called to wish. We chat for 23 minutes. When I found out, I was already dreading the day the phone bill arrives. The number of texts I'd been sending this month was crazy enough and now there's this long phone call to boot. Hope no one checks my phone bill. Better yet, hope no one bans me from my Hanabi.
Talking of names, I have invented more names for more of the things which belong to me! My brain is no longer nameless as
his name is Dawn. Also, so far I have discovered three different sides of me; the loner one, the one for friends and the one for parents. Firstly, the name of the loner is Xyra. Second is Auburn and the one for parents is Mana. Obviously all three of them are girls, as I can't roleplay as a male all the time, now can I?
Across the Country
Friday, January 23, 2009
I woke up at 5.45am for the sake of attending my school's cross-country activity. The only reasons I actually went was to see if I could do better than last year and because I didn't want to scribble up a letter for the school explaining why I wasn't there. Getting to hand over my Science report which was due yesterday is just a bonus. =] Anyway, the position I got for the cross-country run last year was somewhere between 60 and 70. My goal this morning was to do better than before and get higher than fifty. I finished the 6 or 7-kilometer running route in slightly less than an hour, which I am without a doubt proud of. Not only that, I got a ticket at the end with the number 46 on it! I don't think I have to explain what that means.
I'm still in that loving mood I had previously. I love all of you people I know! And thanks too, Petunlia, for keeping me company at school. You're great :D
Now. Time to complete my Malay homework which is supposed to be handed over later. In four hours and fifty-five minutes, to be exact.
Status Update

Okay. My class is totally awesome and better than yours! Bwahahaha! Just kidding. It
is really nice though. Definitely different from my previous classes. We have a clown as class representative, a responsible person as the vice, a scribbler as secretary and a guy who goes around a lot as treasurer. What else could you ask for? One
big happy family; that's what we are.
So besides the book dragging and bag heaving parts, school is going well. Oddly enough, my class loves decorating. We're doing themes and the current one's being Chinese New Year. Deco attempts started yesterday already, with Elwin starting it all. Today I brought some red packets to school for my classmates to cut up. In the end we had a lot of fishies, lanterns, and a pretty box. Elwin put it on our class teacher's table. Hope it didn't get stolen or anything.
From a quarter past 8 (cause I arrived late; hey cool, it rhymes. Go rhymes!) til a quarter past 9, I played tennis with A, B and C. Also known as Yee Ling, Patricia and Esther respectively. I gave them the nicknames, though I don't think Esther knows it yet. I was
not happy with my tennis performance. Had fun though.
Right now, I'm supposed to be doing my ton of homework. Key word obviously being
supposed. Instead, I'm thinking about playing Guitar Hero tomorrow and playing badminton with my friends tomorrow afternoon. Think about the future. It's supposedly good.
Happy Day

Today is dad's birthday! Yesterday, I went shopping and got him an unusual present. As unusual as a present a daughter got her dad can be. I wrapped it up by myself, with some instructions I received from Amelia. Thanks! I asked my two brothers to scribble up some words and notes they want to give to dad, and I'd put them in along with the present into the bag. I'm guessing dad liked what he got, considering he thanked me for it. =3
To celebrate his birthday, my family and a few friends went out for lunch. After lunch we went to Summit, the shopping complex. I got a tennis skirt-short! Uwaaaaah, it's so pretty! And
blue!! That in itself is enough to make my day. But no, there's more! Gasp!
We went to a gaming shop to get our Wii fixed. And... I saw the guitar controller used for Guitar Hero. I simply wanted to know the price, so my brother asked for me. And the most miraculous thing
ever happened! Dad suggested we get it and in the end we did! Like, ZOMG! It's
aaaawesome! I do have one fear though. Addiction. Please don't break my hardworking streak, Miss-Hardwork-whom-only-comes-at-the-beginning-of-the-year. As for you, Master Addiction, stay away from me! Seriously, no kidding!
School Is Never-Ending
Friday, January 9, 2009
The inevitable has happened. Me going back to school. It went pretty well compared to what I thought it'd be. I must admit it was great seeing all of my friends again! I remembered myself pestering one of my friends almost the whole day long. Eh, sorry, Mila. Still friends, right? =]
Oh, and for sure, the school has improved its efficiency! I got placed into the right class on the third day! Amazing feat. Thanks, Mrs -insert teacher's name here-! You have my immense gratitude.
In my new class (full off mostly barely acquainted people), awesome teachers take over the lessons!
Hah, the teachers I got are better than the ones you got, my dearie ex-classmates! Bwahahahaha! Honestly, I really do love the teachers I got this year. It's only been a week, but I'm loving my school life already!
I really
really really do miss my old classmates though. Those people whom I've grown so immensely close to during the time I've known them. Especially this one... Who has been my classmate for seven years running. Yeah, you're special, believe it! But now... Our classmate streak has ended for we ended up going on different paths. This is not the very end, however! Goodness, no! We will still be able to meet up with each other from time to time. Keep in touch- that's we'll do for sure! You might not think I thought of us as that close, and to you maybe we aren't, but to me we
are just
that close. ♥
I probably should mention the subjects I'm taking. So it's Malay, English, Maths, Add Maths, Physics, Chemistry, History, Moral and Accounts. I'm probably going to add English for Science and Technology, Economics and
Perdagangan to the list too. Which makes a grand total of twelve. Insane, even if I do say so myself.
Like I said at the very start, school has begun. Meaning no Internet/blogging during the weekdays, with after-school Fridays as an exception.
-x-x-x-x-x-
Slightly earlier today:At SchoolI got invited to go play badminton with my cool friends. Cool, as in, all of my friends are cool and deserve to be called so. Love you, Max! For the invitation!
At the Club- 1500 - Fetched Vivian to the location. Played badminton. With Max and his friends. I do not know how to spell their names. Instead off possibly misspelling their names which portray their awesomeness, I will put off typing them. However, just know I think you guys are awesome for playing with a pretty lame girl, a.k.a. yours truly.
- 1815 - Changed into swimsuit. With Vivian still, met up with Mabel and Grace. And then encountered two spectacular teachers in the pool. Had a chat with them. It was fun.
Once again, thanks to everyone whom I've bumped into today. Surely it was you who made me so grateful for everything on this ordinary day. Seriously, it's so ordinary but yet I feel so special. I feel so loving.
Spread the love! ♥
More, more!

Oh wow. Third post today. That's definitely a first! Well, today being the first day of the new year, I guess it's alright. Now the reason I'm writing another post is... I forgot to write down some interesting things.
As Yee Ling and I watched the fireworks, we obviously turned our heads up towards the sky to view the totally mind-blowing display of fireworks. Somehow... When I was observing it, it must've found me attractive. Why, do you ask? Well, it hit on me three times! It stung, I tell you. I was so scared that my skin might've become massively flawed. First, Mister Fireworks hit me on the cheek. Then the back of hand. Then my calf! When I got hit
on the third time, I had already started shielding myself. I think Mister Fireworks got the message cause from then onwards he never hit
on me again. :]
When the fireworks ended, people started spraying all those...
stuff around. Was it foam? I don't think so. Maybe it was though. Anyway... it got stuck onto my jacket and my hair. Luckily it came off easily. Couldn't say the same for Yee Ling though. Her fault for putting all that hair styling stuff. It wouldn't get off of her hair. xD
Oh, and Yee Ling also got a stick of Mentos for the maintenance guy who helped her get the Ku guy's poster. A kind soul, ain't she?
Also, for the first time in my life, I have a new year resolution! Which is... to sing in public. I'm guessing I'll sing in my school's competition. Baby steps, people, baby steps. The journey of a million miles starts with the first step.
The person who thought of that saying must be a genius. I however am not genius enough to know who was the one that came up with it.
Meet My Insane Friend
Okay, maybe not insane. Desperate would be a more suitable word. For what happened. She was
so desperate for this singer's poster. Right. His name is Leo Ku, or so she says. Anyways, she was absolutely desperate for it.
Desperate, I tell you!
First we went to check out the ticket counter but it was closed. She started freaking out already. Gosh, she can freak easy. Then she was so happy when she saw the customer service counter. She practically skipped towards it! I don't think she knew, but I could see!
However, like any dramas in tv shows, the person behind the counter was of no use. 'The guy had a blur look on his face', says Yee Ling. 'I think he wasn't even sure about what I was saying.' She was like all downcast then. Yeah. And she was also horribly terribly miserable. (She told me to add that in.)
Being the extreme desperado she was, she turned to the maintenance team. Whom were popping balloons at that time. It was a mess! Anyway... She was talking to them with hand gestures and all. The guy
kinda understood her, I think. He went inside to get the posters and we just stood outside and waited. Then he returned with this huuuuuuge scroll. I was thinking, "...The posters aren't that big." When we opened it up, I almost laughed my butt off.
It was Genting's advertisement on the activities that were being held for the new year. There
was Leo Ku in there. A small two or three inch picture of him. Yeah. Barely counts as a poster of him, does it? But luckily for the girl that's sitting beside me right now, another guy came later with an actual poster of Leo Ku!
At that time, the both of us were like.. well, freaking out pretty badly. We went up to Yee Ling's room and took pictures with the poster.
Yes, it is just that awesome of a poster. I will let her post up her own picture, so I will just show you guys mine. Oh oh! And I wanna put up one more picture too! It's of her being somewhat trapped in the revolving doors right after the fireworks display. Like a sardine in a can, dude!
Entitled: Sardine in a can, a.k.a. Yee Ling trapped in revolving doors.
The camera seemed to like her. It blurred out everyone and everything except her!
"Leo Ku pose. Aren't I awesome looking?", says the vain girl.
Oh, and I also bumped into this mascot.
Caption: "You may not choke meh!" I failed though at the expression.-x-x-x-x-x-
Lastly, I just wanted all of you to know that my dear coach whom I love so much is terribly unfriendly, unsocial and mean in the sense that he does not reply to my message while he replies to just about all of Yee Ling's ones. I feel so unloved and rejected! Ohmigawsh! Wow, the first sentence sure was long. Let's count how many words there were, shall we? One, two... forty six! I'll bet you can feel the lack of love I'm getting, eh? I'm sure you do. Poor me. Pitiful, no?
...By the way. Hope he doesn't read this. Kay. Thanks. Bye. =D
Edit, few minutes later: Gasp! I have found out that Mike's playing favourites! He seems to only reply to Ling's texts. No faaaaaair. Darn. I hate you toooo! :]
New Year's Events
The Genting fireworks were
AWESOME. I'm too lazy to post up the pictures up though. I wanna go and play at the arcade. Just wanted to tell you how awesome it was 8]
Oh oh! And a couple of minutes ago, Yee Ling and I
woke up our tennis coach. And
demanded he make his wife
breakfast. Then he replied with a
blank message. It was so
cool, I tell you! We asked him if we rendered him
speechless or if his eyes were still shut. The next message he sent said "
Ooops first blunder of the year, sending you a blank text." We were laughing out
loud! We replied saying stuff like we were
proud to be the first people to be on the receiving end of his first
blunder of the year. It was an
honour, really. We also told him it was a
breathtaking moment and we will
cherish that moment.
And I'll bet we will xD
