If you think about it properly, the title of this post can mean two things. For some people it may be obvious, and for others it may not. I'm not gonna explain though, too lazy to. Just wanna say that it represents both the meanings it brings.
I just had my second Latin dancing class earlier this evening. Again, it was pretty fun. No funny music this time though. There was way more people this time compared to last week. I think one of the girls brought in her friends and/or relatives. There are little kids now too!
We did a little bit of revision on the steps we learned last week, and learned some new steps as well. The routine is now longer, and takes up more space. I have to cram myself in my room now. My room has just enough space for the steps from last week, and so from now onwards I have to squeeze my steps to make it all fit. Weeell, beggars can't be choosers. I'll take what I can, which is the space in my room.
I haven't gotten high heels yet, and I realised that I'm not in that much of a rush to get a pair. My friend isn't getting hers yet, and so I don't feel the need to get them so soon. She's going somewhere to get hers (where it's supposedly cheaper), so I'm going to tag along when she does go shoe hunting. Can't wait to see though. I may not be in a rush, but nothing's stopping me from feeling excited.
Sarah (the friend I was talking about in the previous paragraph) and I danced together for fun after class. She danced the guy's steps while I danced the girl's. It's kinda basically the same though. It's just in reverse. Our instructor sounded surprised when he found out she knew how to do the steps, and asked us to enter a competition. Hardy har har! Not happening. We just finished our second class! And neither Sarah nor I want to dance the guy's steps. Not because it's too difficult or too easy or because it might mess up our steps altogether, but because we don't want to dress the part. If I've not mistaken, the one playing the guy would have to put on something akin to a tux and have their hair tied up into a neat and not to mention really tight looking bun. Yeaaaah, that doesn't sound very appealing to either of us. Oh, and I just realised! When either of us wear heels, we would be taller than the other. A shorter guy and taller girl just doesn't look right dancing. Not that I have a problem with a boy being with a girl taller than him, but why go through with it when it can be avoided right?
Now for sad/happy news. Kinda sad, kinda happy. Was initially happy, but for the this post, it's sad. There's no class next week. So sad, right? I know! It's because there are five Mondays this month, and we pay for four classes a month. They've picked on next week because us school students have our holidays then. Awwww, I feel even more sad just thinking about it. Must think happy thoughts! Uh, high heels for class the week after! Yeaaaah!
You. Get into my head right this instant!
