Okay, so the KPGCC Monthly Doubles Tennis has ended. Let me start from the start.
Hey wait, before that, I gotta say something else too.
I went for a chinese painting exhibition this morning! And my painting was there. It wasn't all that good. But it was there, oh-em-gee! Yeah.
I stayed there and painted two sheets of rectangular red paper. I've painted this kind of flower before, but it was my first time using red paper. It's different, believe me. My first one didn't turn out all that great and awesome, but it wasn't bad. :D
Mom wanted me to draw another one for dad to frame and hang in his office. So I did. My teacher helped draw the main branches though. I just did the flowers and little branches. Here's a picture of the first one, completely by me! ...Except for the calligraphy. xD

Okay, so that's all for the painting-related event. Now, tennis.
I went at 2pm. After waiting for quite some time, partner hasn't showed up. Called her, and found out that she didn't know that there was a tournament?
What?! I know, right? But yeah. The pairings are randomly picked, by the way. So anyway, I was supposed to be disqualified because of a lack of a partner. Luckily (depends on which way you look at it), Michelle's partner also failed to show up. Asked coach if I could partner her instead. He said I had to ask Michelle and her two opponents. I asked, and they agreed! So yay, I got to play and didn't get disqualified!
We got through the first round with some ease, 15-4. Then after that proceeded to the second round and lost, 14-15. I felt very bad for Michelle. I think she really wanted to win. And it didn't help that I was the one making the mistakes that gave away our points. I kept apologising, but I still felt sorry. Realising that I couldn't do anything to make her feel better, I tried to give her some space. She was eerily quiet.
Yean-Li, who walked over two matches, got straight to the quarterfinals without playing. And she got Justin as her partner. Lucky! She treated Mandy and I to french fries at the club house. On our way to the club house, we saw Michelle, who had earlier went missing. Asked her to come along, but refused. Ordered food and Mandy called her sister to ask her to come over once more. She said she would, and I was happy. Went to the washroom to clean myself up after all that playing and sweating. Came out, and saw the three of them (Yean-Li, Mandy and Michelle) munching on the french fries which had arrived. And they ordered chicken fingers too! ...Which were crazy expensive, by the way. Michelle seemed alright then. Again, I was happy.
Then Yean-Li's first match of the was held. Won, 15-14. Justin played great, covering her. Oh, and she was going up against my brother. Hardy har har. I rooted for both sides. My brother played well too. It was a good match.
Then, she played finals. Lost, 13-15. But they did great! They meaning Yean-Li and Justin. So.. They both got trophies. Odd-looking ones, might I add.

That's all! Pretty eventful day, even if I do say so myself. 'Til next time!
She hates him, he hates her.
Problem solved, right?
Case closed.
