I didn't actually wanna post, but I thought I had put it aside for too long already. Also, there's quite a lot to put in here. Firstly,
tennis! I'm entering a tournament for the first time, and I must say I can feel the excitement already! I feel so old though, gawsh. There had been three classes specially for those entering on Tuesday. Myself included. Because of the first two classes, my leg, the right one, hurts. Maybe I pulled a muscle. It hurt for about three days, but it's getting better. It would obviously hurt if someone got you to run several kilometers without a single break- ran all the way- so early in the morning. And I hadn't used my legs for such running for a long,
long, long time. Today though, coach told us the ABCs of tennis. I must agree with his ABCs. I believe in the simplicity of it all, though like most things are, it's easier said than done. I thought I could play pretty uh.. not-badly, but... I was defeated pretty badly today by a boy younger than I. I lost to him by five points. Depressing, really. The thing is, I wasn't nervous or anything when I played him. I think I had cooled down too much, as I sat down, waited and watched the others play. So when it was my turn, I got up and entered the court. My legs were literally trembling when I stood there. And I could barely move at all. I have been giving myself a lot of notes recently, and I think there's another one I should add to this list.
Note to self: Warm up or move about before trying to play tennis. I'm sure I'll be able to do better on the tourney day :] I know I can do it! After all, it's what we've learnt in kindergarten right? A, B, and C!
Also, I wanted to practice a lot more and I feel as if I'm rotting away at home. I think I'm a more outgoing person than I was about a month ago. Must be a result of sticking myself to a chair and book for the major exam, huh? All the stored energy must be spent! And here's the exit for it. Sports. So anyway. There's this guy called Sebastian that's also entering the tourney. A year younger than myself. When I heard his name, I instantly thought 'crab'. Who wouldn't? So since the setting at the time was the tennis court, I asked a pretty custom question. "How often do you come here and who do you come with?" To make it short, he said when he's free (which is almost every day) and most of the time with no one. Naturally, I was shocked. No one?! How was that possible? The wall, of course. But it does get boring easily. So I asked him if we could play together some time and he was like all 'sure.'. Not sure if my mom would let though. *sigh* I'll just ask her when she gets home. I really wanna do some sports... I'm just cultivating mushrooms here.
I remember wanting to typed about something else as well but I can't recall what it is at the moment. Oh well. Another time will have to do.
It's all right Resha~chan, you can do it!!! Good luck with the tournament! Fight-o!
And maybe you can play with that guy. I bet he'd enjoy it too, not playing alone and such. :)
